Collection: Wire Coats

Wire Coat

Wire coats have a naturally firm, textured outer coat that should feel crisp rather than overly soft or fluffy. These coats need grooming care that helps keep the coat clean, fresh and manageable while supporting the natural texture and structure of the coat.

Regular cleansing, proper coat maintenance and brushing support are important to help remove dirt, reduce residue and keep the coat looking neat. For many wire-coated breeds, the goal is to maintain a clean, fresh coat without weighing it down or softening the natural wiry finish too much.

Suitable for breeds such as Schnauzer, Border Terrier, Wire Fox Terrier, Airedale Terrier, Scottish Terrier, West Highland White Terrier, Norwich Terrier, Norfolk Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Sealyham Terrier and similar wire-coated breeds.

Some breeds, such as the Bedlington Terrier, may have a softer curly or linty coat texture. Depending on coat condition and grooming style, they may also suit products under Poodle Type Coat or curly coat care.

Best for: coat freshness, texture support, manageability and maintaining a neat wiry finish.
